Solid budget groupset that just works

Picked up the Sensah groupset at the start of the season and honestly didn’t expect much for the price. After a full season of riding — mixed terrain, some gravel, a lot of road — I have to say I’m genuinely impressed.

Shifting is crisp and reliable. It took maybe 10 minutes of cable tension adjustment to dial it in perfectly, and since then it’s been spot on. No ghost shifts, no hesitation. The lever ergonomics feel natural, and after long rides my hands aren’t complaining.

The rear derailleur handled everything I threw at it — including a few muddy sections where I expected things to go sideways. Cleaned up well too.

For the price point, there’s really nothing to complain about. It’s not Shimano 105 or Rival, but it doesn’t pretend to be. If you’re building up a budget bike or replacing an aging groupset and don’t want to break the bank, Sensah delivers exactly what it promises.

Will I buy it again? Already planning to put it on my second build.

I’ve been using the SENSAH Empire groupset on my road bike for over a year now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the performance. The shifting is crisp and reliable, even after thousands of kilometers. Installation was straightforward since it’s compatible with Shimano standards. Sure, it’s not as refined as Ultegra, but for the price difference, it’s absolutely worth it. I’ve recommended SENSAH to several cycling friends who were looking to upgrade on a budget. Great value product!
